★★★★ “Kirkbride is a master at showing us how our online identities can take over and inform our real lives, and how the two in the end can be indivisible. A play for our times.” Stagetalk Magazine
“This Compelling piece of theatre deserves a wide audience” Bristol 24/7
Jenna helps people. No matter who you are or where you are in the world, when life strikes you a blow Jenna is there for you. Because like you she has suffered – she’s lived with chronic fatigue syndrome for six years now and runs this blog to help you cope.
Jenna knows that opening up your life to the whole world can be dangerous, but when David’s comment lands on her blog the temptation to find out more is impossible to resist. As their online relationship develops it’s clear that not all is as it seems. Is David who he says he is? Because everyone lies. Don’t they?
A messily human thriller about the struggle of self-help and online identity.
