THE LONG TRICK
17 February - 5 March 2017
Kelsey. Teenager. Cornish born. Timid lover of anarchic music. Kelsey lives in a converted fishing boat moored on the Helford River in Cornwall. She is proud daughter to Tristan of Helford - the local legend who makes a living robbing all the nearby second homes. When Gale walks into their lives Kelsey wakes up to who she really is. The outside world encroaches and a delicate balance is knocked sideways in Tristan's precarious world.
Told with narrative poetry, dialogue and song, The Long Trick is about identity, home and what happens when ideas go beyond our control.
